Happy Birthday Colby and Noah
It's hard to believe we have a house of tweens. Colby will be 12 on June 24th and Noah will be 10 on June 17th. We have been thinking-- we have only six more years before the first one is out of the house and 17 more years before the last one is out of the house. (Even though Colby says he going to stay FOREVER).
The boys have tested and received their tae kwon do green belts. They are climbing the belt ladder pretty fast it seems like . They really miss Walker and Cole back in Louisiana .

The Family
We are getting ready to travel back to Illinois for a quick visit. Tina's cousin is getting married. We are still waiting for the mini-van, who knows where it is right now. How long does it take to put a van together? After all, we did order it back in February.

The House

We have finally got the back yard landscaped. We bought mainly bulbs, bare root plants, and little baby plants (it's cheaper to go that route) with some from nurseries that are a little older for show. Hopefully in a year or two the flower beds will finally fill-out. Mark still has to stack the cross-ties on the back-end of the play set and we will put some bushes around that area as well.

We are still watching the mud flow down the back yard every time it rains. A professional will need to be called in to get the grass started and bring in more dirt if it keeps on raining. They just don't make grass like they use to.

We are still flashing our neighbors by not having blinds on the windows yet (boy are they getting jealous of us gorgeous people). The walls are still antique white, which is the cheap construction paint they use, so anyone who breaths on it, leaves a mark. Speedbump is really living up to his name, but then again we just don't have much time to get things done. We also need to get some furniture for some of our rooms. Oh well, there is always next year! (Update - we finally ordered some furniture!!!).

Mom and Dad
Dad has been working hard to get fotosaurus on its way. You can see the start of it by following the link in this web site. Dad bought another "L" series lens for his camera to replace his broken telescopic lens. It's a 70-200 canon "L". He also sold his first prints at the McConnells tractor show on May 20th (aka redneck show). However, he can't quit his daytime job just yet.
Dad had a birthday in April....he's still looking good for 23.

Mom is exhausted!!! Helping out dad and taxiing the kids about, keeping up with the little one who runs everywhere now, and doing the landscaping and working out in the yard (in other words doing the boys' chores).

Speedbump Updates
Ethan has cut four more teeth! These new additions are the back teeth bringing the grand total to 12 teeth. Don't worry Dr. Glenn, he has been brushing his teeth faithfully. His greatest pleasure right now, is paging the phone, so he can find it or just listen to it beep (anyway, it can get annoying). He knows how to work the paper shredder after watching us shred documents a few times (the stuff we don't want the government to know we are doing). What are his newest words? poopie, thank-you, towel, bowl, juice, baby, hot, cookie (for cookie monster), bubba, bear, meow, play, go get, round, brrrr cold and he growls for the bear and tiger. Just too cute!!

Stuff
PLEASE check out the what's new page. Some page changes are minor (such as the addition of one or two pictures) and could be easily overlooked.
If you're new to the site, please see the archive section for complete past editions!!!

We are only going to press every two months or so. As you notice, after a year we change the image of the chronicles, tell us what you think.

We had a record for signing our guest book, thanks to all our wonderful fans.
